Keeping The Flame Alight- Sustaining Intimacy
Presented by: Indrus Piche and Ron Postl
In our hectic lives we often fail to attend to the very thing we value and long for the most, real connection and an authentic loving relationship. Give yourself, your partner and your relationship the chance to begin living the dream you once had, and still hold, for the promise of living an awakened relationship.
We believe an important aspect of human nature is the longing for more connection. This program offers relationships an opportunity to move from complacency to a deeper understanding of intimacy.
Session1- Letting Go of the Old Story: Creating a New Reality-
One of the most common issues that get couples stuck, and limits our ability to open to a deeper love, is chronically telling ourselves the same story about our partners and our relationships. When we release each other from the limiting, old, often negative story, we can then open to the possibility of living in a truly loving relationship. This session invites you to let go of the old story and begin the creation of an exciting new one.
Exercise: M. Williamson healing of men and women/ then each couple offer their own please forgive.
What gets in the way of you relating/loving and being loved he way you want?
Session 2- Being the Lover and the Beloved:
The Art of Giving and Receiving
We often experience ourself as either the “giver” or the “receiver”. In reality we are always both. Finding ways to express ourself as “givers” and as “receivers” without attachment, are key ways to keep mystery and play alive in a relationship. The art of being both the Lover and the Beloved creates vital shifts in long- standing relationship dynamics and opens the path to intimacy.
Session3- Shiva and Shakti: Men and Women’s Separate Circles
It is rare in our culture that we have an opportunity to just sit in a circle with our brothers and sisters and listen to what they wish to offer to the circle. What is our relationship to sexuality, sensuality, and our bodies? What challenges and/or new discoveries are we experiencing?
When a sacred circle is created within a safe and prepared container the sharing of what arises can provide all of us with collective insight and learning, healing medicine, and a re-newed knowing that we are all part of a shared human journey.
Session4- Unleashing the Wonderful Lover: Exploring and Expanding the Boundless Potential of Conscious Loving
Expand your concept of what being a really wonderful lover is. Sex as we think of it, a genital, goal -directed experience, is akin to an atom in a universe.
Unfortunately, many of us are not “born” great lovers; it is a learned art. And our culture does not value the lover archetype, so we have an opportunity to realize that when we develop our selves as a lover, we expand our capacity to excel in all aspects of life, not just in the bedroom.
Understand that to be a great lover we need to learn to be very present, realize the value of play, be ever curious, be willing to go on an adventure over and over again, and see ourselves and our partners as ordinary humans with all our foibles, but also as an aspect of the Divine.
Session 5- Sex, Soul and Spirit: The Exquisite Trinity
There is an innate longing in humans to connect the polarities of our sexual/ life force energy, and our spirituality/consciousness. The potential of this union is not only for a few, but our birthright as humans.
Learn some simple, but profound, foundational tenets of sacred sexuality. Sexuality is really how we choose to engage our life force energy. Inviting our imagination and inner world into the realms of our sensual and most intimate life infuses our understanding and experience of what sex is. Begin the alchemical magic of union of these three vital aspects of self; Sex, Soul (replace with whatever term you are comfortable with) and your unique sense of Spirit.
Session 6- Keeping the Flame Alight: Sustaining Intimacy Moment to Moment, Day by Day, Year to Year
So often we learn new things, and know that they are valuable, even life transforming but…. then we do not integrate them into our everyday life.
This session will guide you into creating an ATTAINABLE, Intimacy Agreement with your Beloved.
We can in each moment make a choice to deepen our intimacy. We can become more affectionate, more giving, more empathic and each small choice enriches our mastery of love. Enhancing our relationship with intimacy allows us to experience all of life in a more profound and meaningful way.
